Julio Elias

Chair, International Business Assistant Professor, Economics & Finance

Dr. Elias is an Assistant Professor of Economics & Finance and the current Chair of the International Business Program (IBUS). His research and professional work are a combination of economic theory, applied econometrics, and data science. He brings more than 10 years of experience in quantitative analysis in the banking industry and more recently in data science. His professional work and training range from the Central Bank of Mozambique, International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank (WB), International Labor Organization (ILO), and several central banks in different countries.
