College Student Events and Traditions

These college student events and traditions strengthen school spirit and create moments students remember for life. Students also host their own student-led events throughout the year: everything from bingo to charity fundraisers and casino nights.
ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ celebrates community and tradition year-round with events that bring students, families, and alumni together. Fall highlights include Homecoming and Family Weekends with athletics, tailgates, and campus gatherings, while December’s Light Up the Hill tree lighting spreads holiday cheer. In spring, BisonFest offers games, music, and food to connect and unwind, and seniors close their journey with cherished Commencement traditions, including the athletic ring ceremony, Baccalaureate, and senior week festivities.
