In addition, the college earned specialized recognition in a field of study (Business) and for exceptional student support services (Career Development).
Colleges of Distinction, which was founded in 2000 as a resource for students, parents, and guidance counselors, evaluates schools on four overarching distinctions 鈥� engaged students, great teaching, a vibrant community, and successful outcomes. Curricula for the selected colleges must emphasize competencies such as critical thinking, writing, oral skills, research, and global perspectives, as well as experiential learning opportunities.
